Christmas Celebration
Christmas is an annual festival, commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, observed primarily on December 25 as a religious and cultural celebration among billions of people around the world.
The United Nations Assembly @ DMTS
For the first time the Social Studies department of Dr Mar Theophilus School, Dhanori organized the United Nations Assembly.The programme was inaugrated by the school Director Dr. C J Sameul and Principal Mrs. Roshini George.
The programme was intiated by the students of classses IX and X. They represented different countries and the president of the assembly led the whole session.
The topic chosen for the session was ‘Terrorisim – A threat to world peace’.The students presented themselves as the delegates of Russia, China, USA, France, United kingdom, Germany, India, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Japan and other memeber nations.
The management provided all the necessay resourses and the venue selected for the event(The BIshop’s Hall) looked grand with flags of 193 countries.
The session concluded with some motivational thoughts shared by the Director and the Principal of the school.

Teacher’s Day Celebration
Teacher’s Day was celebrated on 5th September, 2018. A surprise awaited the teachers as they were welcomed by the students of standard X with the card and a rose.
The school Principal Mrs. Roshni George addressed the students and teachers of the importance and a role of teachers in an institution. The teachers were felicitated. A couple of teachers spoke of their experiences in their teaching life.
The school Director Dr. C. J. Samuel gave his message on this important day.
